Mosaic is a contemporary artform with ancient roots and a rich cultural heritage. Learn how to successfully cutand lay tiles and how to mix and grout a work. At the end of this course you will take home a unique wall hanging or house number for your home or garden.
In this course you will learn how to successfully cut and lay tiles and how to mix and make coloured grout. At the end of the course you can take home your own completed mosaic (ready to be grouted) house number, trivet or wall hanging.

All materials for a ceramic tile mosaic and tools included.

Artist BioSelena began her career studying at the National Art School in Sydney followed by a Bachelor of Art Education at COFA. Her work is held in collections in Australia and overseas and she is a prominent mural artist. Selena has worked on many commissions and mural projects including a 75 square metre mural in Surry Hills commissioned by the Sydney City Council. She has also created works for Katoomba Neighbourhood centre, Portland Olympic Pool, Oberon Visitors Centre, Lawson Public School, All Saints College and Sculpture at Scenic World. Selena has been creating paintings and mosaics and teaching adults for over 17 years. She is regularly invited to teach workshops state wide including workshops at Bathurst and Sturt at Mittagong. Selena’s classes are informative and engaging and you are sure to be inspired by her expertise and creative approach. |
